Changelog
What changed in each version. The app tells you when a new one is out.
- The app menus have been rebuilt. On Mac the menu bar is now File · Edit · View · Go · Window · Help, and it lists the shortcuts each window already uses.
- Three new shortcuts: ⌘N for a new chat, ⌘, for Settings and ⇧⌘W to close a window (Ctrl instead of ⌘ on Windows).
- On Windows, the same menus (File · Edit · View · Go · Help) now sit at the top left of the window. The Settings and collapse buttons stay below them in the sidebar header.
- Menus only enable what works in the window you're using. ⌘W closes a tab or window, never the whole app window.
- Help now lists every keyboard shortcut, opens the release notes and website, and copies diagnostics.
- Fixed Select All (⌘A) outside a text field selecting the whole screen including the sidebar. Also fixed Minimize and Full Screen in the menu doing nothing while using the browser, and a stray extra window in the Window menu.
- Tasks that run on a schedule are now called Routines and gather below your other tasks in the left panel. Lists are ordered by status, starting with what's in progress.
- On Mac, the AI works much better in apps you've connected. It reads long lists and chats in apps like KakaoTalk and even the menu bar, and it can take a picture of a window, read the text in it and drag things. The first time, macOS asks for Accessibility and Screen Recording permission.
- On Windows, the AI also works better in connected apps. Reading no longer asks for approval, and typing and sending now work even in apps like KakaoTalk.
- An approval card can now always allow one app for the chat (Mac and Windows). Scripts saved for that app are included, and sending still asks separately. Turn an app off under App access in the shield chip.
- Drag a file from the app onto a web page in the browser (such as ChatGPT) and it's uploaded as a file.
- When Codex can't check your account, the app now says why. If you've been signed out you'll see "Sign-in needed" and a Sign in button; if the server can't be reached, it checks again on its own once the connection is back.
- The Settings tabs have been reordered, and Trash now sits on its own at the bottom of the list.
- On Windows, the app now draws its own title bar. Fixed Korean text breaking in the terminal, idle terminal tabs always showing as running, Ctrl+W closing the app, and the highlight around the top-right pane being cut off under the window buttons.
- The browser has been rebuilt. Tabs and the address bar sit on two rows, and there's a new tab page, history, bookmarks, a downloads list and site permissions. Sign-ins are shared across projects, or kept separate per project.
- Chat windows can now hold several tabs. You can put other chat or terminal tabs into a chat or terminal so they work together, and a mark on the tab corner shows where each tab is in use.
- Files, tasks and notes go into a chat as attachments and into a terminal as a path. Right-click the tab you want to put in.
- The second button on approval cards now says what it allows, such as "Always allow up to … in this chat". Defaults for new chats are set in Settings › AI engines.
- Codex can now be installed and signed in with a single "Install and connect" in Settings › AI engines. The Settings tabs are now named "AI engines" and "App connections".
- While you scroll up in a chat, the "Jump to bottom" button changes color when a new reply arrives or an approval is waiting.
- The app icon is now a brighter green, so it's easier to spot in a dark Dock.
- Fixed our window jumping above other apps while a browser window was open, and the Settings window or menus briefly appearing behind a browser page.
- On Windows, Settings › Connections now finds installed apps such as KakaoTalk. Once an app is connected, what the AI learns while using it is kept for later chats.
- When a chat works with an app that isn't connected, the AI mentions that connecting it keeps what it learns.
- Fixed the first chat failing with "Anthropic servers aren't responding" when Claude Code's sign-in refresh collided. The app no longer force-quits Claude Code while checking the engine.
- If the sign-in refresh is briefly blocked, the app says so and sends again automatically after a short wait.
- Fixed Claude Code not working on Windows when the user folder name contains Korean characters.
- When an engine can't be found or won't run, Settings › Engines now explains why and what to do (install, choose the executable, reinstall). Copy diagnostics to send the details as they are.
- Engines installed with npm, nvm and similar tools are found more reliably.
- First public release.
- Memos — the left panel is now Tasks · Memos · Files. One + opens a blank page; the first line becomes the title.
- Roadmaps — see the order and progress of tasks as a flow chart with a progress bar. Tasks can now be put On hold.
- The empty desk tells you what happened and brings back hidden and closed windows (⌘⇧T).
- A project's files can live in a folder on your computer. Existing files can be moved, kept or sent to the trash.
- Tabs can move to a new window. Settings › Trash separates whole deleted projects from individual items.
- The AI searches the web and reads pages without opening a browser window, and can move, trash and create files and folders.
- The AI replies and writes in the language you use, and reads and edits Korean Excel CSVs without garbling them.
- Long commands (up to 10 minutes) and large files no longer get cut off. Approval cards wait up to 5 minutes.
- claude and codex in the app's terminal can work with your task documents, data, connected apps and window layout.
- Connections the app can't use yet (Google Calendar, Notion, Slack and others) show as Coming soon.
- New app icon.
